Depends on natural, or flourescent light.

I had to send mine back for a zipper after 10 years.

Replaced the crappy aluminum handle (which broke during a trip) with the stainless steel...it will last longer than I will.

I added a small piece of thin angle-steel on the bottom kickplate edge, since the aluminum being dragged over rocks or curbs was grinding it away.

It too will last forever.

The rivets are a weak point. The three that have failed I replaced with AN-3/series aircraft bolts with self-locking nuts (sts).

Wheels were getting hard to spin. Was going to replace them, and when I took the bolts out, found the bearings were covered with hair and carpet fuzz.

Cleaned it, packed new grease in the bearings (Fafnir; a good aircraft-quality brand), and they are great now, too.

Yeah, there are others that are lighter, cheaper, or fit in the overhead of an RJ, but mine has history.

Plus, everyone used them when I got in the biz. It just LOOKS like an airline pilot's bag!
