Mesa offers us up to 10,000$ per recommendation, I don't know of anyone who in good conscious as tried to get their friends to come here. I helped many of my friends come to Mesa, but that was back when they were competitive and it made sense. Now the majority only come to Mesa if they failed out of training elsewhere or their other option is Go-Jet.
Other airlines have the same domiciles, that pay more, have higher quality of life, and maybe upgrade times almost as quick as Mesa.
It's really too bad, once you get to a certain point at Mesa, it is an extremely laid back environment that is really easy to get comfortable in, the training department is top notch that work their butt off to help those that struggle, and we NEVER hear from the company or do carpet dances for stupid stuff. You couldn't ask for a better culture in that regard. Just too bad they ruined an opportunity to prevent this back in the last TA, if they would have just made it industry average, or top 1/3rd, and increased the QOL / work rules for reserve.
Mesa was never competitive
