Just beware there was an American scam artist basing himself out of the Philippines for awhile. Not sure what happened to him, but he took a fair number of people for some money. Initials of SS. Was a Delta pilot then China Airlines then Korean I think. I met him once in about 96 or 97 when he was claiming he knew an outfit in Hong Kong that could get you 15% monthly returns with Forex. Fortunately I was taught when it sounds too good to be true, it is too good to be true.

He then had some ab initio pilot deal with $10,000 required up front and I think it was specifically for flying in the Philippines. Some kids bought off on it and lost their money.
