None of you are such BAMF that you can escape a twist of fate. Count yourselves lucky, and I feel very disappointed that people can't see this situation over their ego and their need to be "right".
Most definitely can learn from this. I've learned from situations like this myself. That's why it's called experience. Disregard some of the careless opinion posts here too.
