Oh, please...this is the same management team (with a few notable changes) that expressly lied about maintenance spending...barely .1% increase not even factored in with the new jets that showed up. They are hoping that a TA will help stem the tide with all of the operational and mx failures that the company is suffering through by its own lack of concern for the health of the system. Look at the share price, that's the real pressure for the board to push for something. While a good contract will be a boon for the pilot group, don't think for a minute that the training department is suddenly going to start actually training our new hires properly (4 oral failures in just the last class) instead of relying on a crappy computer program that Maury hopes to sell elsewhere. Don't think that EG is suddenly going to make decisions to shore up the operation...costs money to train, fly and be safe. Watch the stock price, it's the best bellwether for what happens from the front office.
