SLI if we had our hair on fire would be done first of the year 2018. That wide open range would then be open 2023...maybe. Union feels only 3 bases would need protection or a fence; SFO, SEA, PDX. From all of the legal and historical context gathered to this point a 10 year fence would probably be the most likely. If the optimistic time line above is achieved, that has those three domiciles fenced to 2028... Cheers
Cant find any recent merger that had domicile fences or narrow body fences....UAL/ Continental, Delta/ NWA, AA/ LCC and SWA/ Airtran.....and a 5 yr equip. lock...Cant find one for domestic narrow body in those mergers........2 years is what we have now I think....
