I don't update it during a trip because I was almost burned once. Windows downloaded an update, and then installed it when i turned it on in the plane, leaving me without an efb until the door was almost shut.

Happened to a CA i was with too. His efb froze mid flight so he didna hard reboot. Windows decided to update on the restart and took almost 20min to do so. Luckily by approach it had finished...
