Small details: Proper flap settings, SUA, ATC instructions...
But those little details have never caused any problems before

If that was the only situations I'd agree. However I've flown with the super attention to detail people and it's kinda funny to watch them so involved that all the big stuff goes flying right past them.
Worrying about small details flying a plane has caused more issues when dealing with the big picture then the other way around. Flying a plane isn't rocket science and there are the few that tend to make the Job WAY harder then it needs to be. Cue in "Grammar Nazi's" Someone focused on grammar that understands the point that's being made has personal issues and want to make a point to make things?????? We'll harder. LOL We could go on every post and find things wrong with about every post.
