And how about the seats... full forward so you can check circuit breakers and ship set or full back so it's easier to get in the seat?

I don't ever mind doing these things, but there doesn't really seem to be an agreement on it.

I like to put the shades up (when installed and it's hot out) as well.

Also, put in the next callsign, dial airspeed back to 100, 0000 in the squawk, switch to "1" and above, even put in 800 above field in the RA.
Takes me less than 30 seconds. Almost always get a comment from the Capt... sometimes good sometimes not.
