It's about time that the pilots in this industry start expecting more from the ultra low cost carriers. Compensation is directly related to profit and since the ULCC's are consistently more profitable than the legacy airlines, it is just a matter of time before they will be the highest paid airline pilots in the business.
This is a first contract and we can't expect it to be top if the industry pay, but we should certainly expect it in the future. I expect this will be a good first contract with room to build on a second.
