Came from YKF this morning with news cameras there. Evidently, Envoy is unable to fly there because we will not have the gate available at ORD. Other airlines taking gates. Service will stop October 5th. PSA will fly there from DAY.
They mentioned furlough of station personnel. Can't remember exact number. Basically any place that doesn't have pre-clearance through customs to ORD it's gone.
Because DAY is a major connection hub. This won't last long when paxs have to do at least 3 legs to get to destination. USAIR management brainstorming again, must really hurt.
