The condos down near Kimball Junction are way overpriced IMHO. There are some good deals in Jeremy Ranch as well, it's just a bit farther to get to the slopes is all.

Being in PC gets you out of the winter time smog of SLC, as well as the summer heat. 35 minutes to the parking lot at SLC. And less than 50% Mormon. What's not to love?

Right! All those things sound pretty good to me. Except that I have kids. The schools up there are beautiful but honestly, I'd rather my kids go to school in 'Mayberry' than '90210'. Thanks for the $/square foot comparison. Those prices are about what I was seeing in Orange County California a few years ago, while we paid closer to .80¢ / square foot on a full acre here in Davis County. Granted. It's a lot more than 50% LDS here, but we interact with them to the degree we choose. That's why I say there are plenty of good options here. If you're going to live in Park City, just plan on spending more on your house, your groceries, and *especially* your mountain bike (I hear high end bikes are mandatory up there.)
