I have read through every page of the TA. While it is a HUGE improvement from the garbage we have now, it is not acceptable to me. We are the most profitable airline in the country and run leaner than any of our competition. This is the one time that management "needs" us. 4 weeks ago there was little to no progress on the major areas of the TA. Now we have this? Ask yourself why? Is it that Airbus will not make a deal on the 36 new A320's until a deal is reached with the pilot group? They have been at HQ a lot lately. Oil is low and almost every airline is hiring. 2 out of 8 expected new hires actually showed up on Monday. That speaks volumes. This is our opportunity to get what we have all been denied for years, don't let it slip away and accept the first offer they toss out. Would you go to a car dealer and accept the first offer to buy a new car? I know that it is up to each of us to decide what they feel is best for them and their family, but for me and mine the answer is NO.
