I really had to laugh at this paragraph. Your willingness to "spin" reality is simply amazing. IIRC, back in January you and others were trumpeting a flow of over 300-350 this year, while I was skeptical and said 200 would be lucky. Now that 200 (or even less) is the reality, here you are saying this.

Not only that, Envoy "will/is parking aircraft to honor the flow" ?
Could you list the aircraft Envoy has parked to honor what is a fraction of the previously projected flow for 2016 ?
You also seem to blame Envoy's woes on the bankruptcy merger and seem to frame the present regional pilot CRISIS as questionable phrasing it as a "shortage" as if Envoy itself bears no burden. Envoy's issues have little to do with the C11/merger and everything to do with an industry that screwed itself by making the regional pilot existence akin to a sweatshop operation and Envoy's present woes are a byproduct of combined internal failings and the catch-22 they are in regarding their present situation. I simply don't see Envoy pulling out of any "deep stalls" and in fact are in danger of kicking their present flat spin, inverted.
From all outward appearances, Envoy is running out of altitude fast. More ca$h coming to F/O's ? That would actually make sense as again, they will only throw the minimum money they feel necessary to solve THEIR problems. First, it was just give new-hires more pay, leaving present pilots to twist in the wind and now throw some at F/O's, leaving captains as the goats ? I can see that and I can see the MEC being stupid enough to hand them another Band-Aid. But, I don't think the next Band-Aid will work either as pilots will still leave for greener pastures and wouldn't leave anyway laterally. This wont do much for new-hires as they already have brought that pay up to X and the stampeded to the E-145's and CRJ's has remained elusive.
Anyhoo, thanks for the chuckle. Your post above at least DID have some type of value.
