I also did my CFI initial check ride for free with the local FSDO... then got hired as a CFI at a local flight school, and my II, MEI were also free as the flight school with which I was hired had a DE who didn't charge his CFI's for check-rides.
It's called networking, prospecting, studying hard.
For less that 35k, that's extremely good, to be honest with you I've done some research for flight schools around Florida and that's the cheapest I've found, 39k with the fuel surcharges included etc. Yea and I see that you worked at on FBO Ramps, that's one of my concerns, and it's how to manage to fit in 3 things because of course I need the job for money to pay for my flight classes. But there is organization thing called AOPA and you can pay around 150-200 monthly for your flight classes since they pay it for you and you just pay them monthly. So I'm guessing I'll just need a light job to manage that. And wait, so you can just start working as a CFI with only your CFI not having your CFI-I and CMEI and still build your hours and get payed ?
Yuup sir networking, prospecting and studying hard are the key. Thanks a lot sir have a good night.
