Said he should use another air carrier huh? Interesting. Not the first time I have heard the ORD CPO advising pilots of doing things they could get fired for. You guys need to start recording everything.
From the way I understand it, if you fly on another airline while you are out for any reason without approval, is grounds for your travel authorization to be revoked and could as well lead to termination.
Yup Envoy sounds like a swell place.
Bet the CPO would go up to bat when a pilot gets fired for that crap.
Just hope no bus is near bye if your that guy.
