I think for most, the decision which way to vote on this TA is and should be based on factors such as job security, securing time away from work, vacation with our families, how effective our health insurance is, preparing for retirement, etc etc. This vote is not about tiptoeing around the feelings of the EXCO or negotiating committee. There is lots lacking in this contract in regards to work rules, which I was under the impression, was one of the primary goals to improve. How long it would take to agree on a new TA is something nobody can predict, may be sooner, may be later. What I know is, in my opinion this failed to improve work rules in any meaningful way. The loose language will be something we have to deal with for years to come.
