From what I hear and see, upgrades are struggling with decision making skills, and also are unprepared. They tend to not study very hard because "they have been on the plane for 8 years" and think they "know enough". Some upgrades havent even made it past limitation knowledge. This is still a 121 upgrade! Newhires are still at the same rate for washouts. Nothing new or exciting there.
