I wish everyone wasnt trapped by seniority where everyone could compete for advancement and promotions and everyone would be happy.

You also knew that progression was based on seniority when you chose this profession, right? If you don't like that concept, I might suggest another area of aviation for you to pursue.

Everyone DOES have a chance to get promoted in the airlines - when your number comes up.
