SFO 777 flying is in a quandary. It mostly went away when the 787 took most of our Pacific flying. Not much left. Guam, HNL, EWR, ORD, IAD, LHR, and CDG. That's about it. They have not bumped, just sitting around. So, there must be a plan, right?
So, lots of guys sitting around not flying much on reserve. Lots of short calls with nothing going on. Which means, yes, you get pay, great if you live in base, sucks if you don't.
We should get some of that Pacific flying back when the 777-300ER's start coming. But till then, nothing to see here, move along...
