In my opinion I dont think recurrent is the best place to corner a member of management with loaded questions like "why wont you pay us like our peers," he is trained to pivot and move from questions like that. It tells him "I dont care what your say, dont trust it, and want to make you stand up there while nobody seeks to hear your thoughts.

Best thing is he stops going to recurrent and when asked why he will say "Every time I ask if there are questions, nobody asks anything, they just sit there silent"
