No way dude. Unless they're sitting reserve (which I'd still be doing at SWA) My highest month at SWA was 130 trips. I just worked 100 hours at my new airline and took home almost 2 k more after taxes- PLUS the additional 12-1500 $ in direct retirement contribution.
AND I save close to 500$ A month because I don't have to buy food, get reimbursed for dry cleaning, and my parking is paid for.
I enjoyed my time at SWA, but it is nowhere near what I have at my new airline.
And I'll add there are a significant amount of people leaving-3 SWA guys in my newhire class at my new airline.
I guess you're right. Clearly I'm fudging the numbers.
