You're kind of missing the point of this tag. It has those layers of protection to keep people from looking at my information when they don't need to be and at the same time allowing someone to report when and where they found it without really doing anything other than scanning or touching the tag. It is way easier to touch it to my phone using NFC or scan the QR code than it is to type in a phone number and write a text.
