How are guys checking their status on the background check with GIS as to how far along it is?
You have to call them personally. They'll either tell you it's still in process or it's been completed. The couple times I've called, they've been very quick to take my call and been very friendly. I've heard of others getting long hold times or not getting their calls returned.
