Threatening to kill anyone is crime. Threatening to kill a person who is specially protected under the law, as presidential candidates are, is taken incredibly seriously. Making the threat on social media just means you provided the evidence to make it easy for you to get caught.
Not condoning the tweet at all. He did not threaten to kill Hillary, merely expressed a desire for her to be hung after his version of "due process" was carried out. All in all extremely bad judgement. Not something I wish to see from an elected official or a fellow pilot in a United flightdeck
