I would honestly watch FA hiring to predict which base will open since FAs are still hired to a particular base. Atleast that's my understanding.
The FAs are hired to a particular base, in fact there was a FA open house in ATL, that caused confusion with FA hiring for an ATL base, which ultimately wasn't the case.

That's interesting. A purchase of another type of aircraft would definitely require the Union to sign off on it.
