If that picture was taken from the net and unrelated to his Twitter account of a politician then I think he should not be punished by UAL. Let the local voters decide if they feel he was out of line. Wrong.... I might could see sending him a memo saying "hey, be more careful in the future, your comments are embarrassing to us" but that is about where it should end (unless he actually threatens someone or breaks the law in some way which in this case he has not).
