NW had a bank, I never flew under that program but I've heard stories, perhaps the ones who have worked under that system can tell us if they like the Delta 270, use it or lose it, better?
I wish I had all my 30+ years of unused sick leave available for use now! You are all just one bad car wreck, or illness, or EKG blip away from a 50% pay cut!
I totally agree with your the beginning of your post. Flown with many who've had the same problem. We need a system that banks/pays unused sick so you can use it when you really get sick. Talk to the guys living on a fraction of their monthly pay after a long battle with a terrible disease. One of the top issues in my survey. We need it yesterday. Sick leave is not personal time.
