They have been doing that since they started hiring in 2013. In my opinion it's not good practice to turn so many people down. Especially since everyone is qualified. I don't think any other airline out there turns down roughly 50%
Maybe when they get to the question
"will you sign a 2 year contract of indentured servitude in the form of a training contract for this job"
And 50% say NO.
