If they ask a blanket statement like have you ever had an accident, tell the truth. "I have never had an accident or violation in flying but I did have an accident in my car ten years ago"
THIS IS ONLY IF YOU THINK THAT IS WHAT THEY ARE ASKING, chances are, as the other guy pointed out they mean "aviation accidents"
As for auto...... I got hired 11 years ago when it was actually difficult to get a job with an airline with 3 car wrecks on my record and dozens of speeding tickets. I listed every single one of them.
The fact is they are desperate for pilots and if you are a qualified pilot with a little experience a car wreck is not going to keep you from getting a job.
just be honest.
