Retirement is a 401K with a 2:1 match up to 3%; contribute up to 6% to get 3%. Health insurance is pretty decent (I don't use it) and 80% of premiums are paid by the company.

For PSM based crews, fairly often. I'm home mid cycle usually 2-4 times a month. For PDK, slightly less so. For other bases, rarely. If you have less than 12 hrs rest at your home base, they will offer you a hotel.

Career changers are fairly common here. The mix of backgrounds for all pilots is pretty diverse.
