My wife just got hired at Republic. Does anyone know what hotel they use in St Louis during training? She likes to eat healthy and it looks like all they have around FlightSafety is Waffle House and Jack in the Box. She is hoping they put her up somewhere with more options! Do you get days off during training (enough to go home for 2 days occasionally?)
To add to what others said, there's also a Subway across the street. Someone is also bound to have a car, so with the grocery stores nearby it shouldn't be a problem to eat well. Pool has a grill as well. FS also puts out (at least they used to as far as I know) fresh fruit, bagels, etc. each morning at no cost.
