LMAO....wow. Jersdawg is exactly correct in what he said.

Reality: We are losing 10-12 FO's a month to LLC's and majors. We aren't hiring much more than that on an average monthly basis (that stay and complete training). Then, you add in the roughly 10 flows per month right now, plus CA's getting hired elsewhere, and we do not have a net gain of pilots right now. Republic and Skywest are filling classes right now.
Envoy is receiving new state of the art Embraer 175 aircraft each month and is being positioned to be the premiere regional carrier in the U.S. Envoy also flies the CRJ-700 and the Embraer 145. As an all jet carrier, you will not have to fly a turboprop here. You stand a very good chance to be flying the 175 if you can get in very soon.
Bwhahaha....premiere huh? With the worst pay rates and work rules in the industry? That's funny.
Things are looking up at Envoy. Management just announced that all of the Embraer 145 aircraft currently flying at Expressjet will be returned to Envoy in early 2017. This means more flying, more new hires and more Captain slots. We also are looking at Embraer 175 options. American would like to place up to 90 additional 175's at Envoy. You can imagine what this would do to your seniority.
We were punished for our no vote, and a fair amount of our DFW 145 flying was farmed out to XJET. Part of the reason our schedules are horrendously inefficient right now is because of a lack of midday flying. With 145's being transferred to PDT at a faster rate, our airframe numbers won't change appreciably. We will be able to absorb most of the midday flying between higher line values and lots and lots of extentions and junior-mans most likely. The mere fact of more flying returning to us doesn't generate new-hires out of thin air.
AAG is maxed out on RJ scope. With MD-80's and E-190's being retired, there is simply no way for Envoy to exercise any new E-175 options right now. The only possibility is for existing Republic E-175's to come to Envoy, and the likelihood of this will depend on Republic and AAG's negotiations in their bankruptcy.
As you may be aware, Envoy has the most robust flow program in the industry.
At least, until the 824 is through.
Essentially, we are hiring you as an AA pilot from day one. You can expect to work for Envoy for about 6 years before transitioning over to American Airlines. This is a no interview, no medical flow. Essentially, you are transferring from one department to another.
Upgrades just reached 6 years on the last vacancy bid. I expect I will have been at Eagle/envoy over 11 years when (and if) I flow next year.
It's a nice sentiment, but going to AA is NOT a "department transfer." You keep nothing except your company employee number. Not years of service recognition, NOTHING.
Disregard any negativity you see here about Envoy. It's from disgruntled ex employees and others who don't even work here and are likely working at a regional with no flow and no future. Envoy has a very bright future and the lifestyle here is similar to one that you would transition into at AA.
I've been here over ten years. Our quality of life has degraded greatly since the hostile takeover by US Air. Every single envoy pilot that has flowed says the difference in culture and their treatment is night and day, like going from an abusive relationship to a healthy one.
Management has the ability to fix this airline by raising pay and work rules to industry average at the very least. Instead, they laughted at the union's latest proposal, and send employees onto the message boards to push what can only nicely be called propaganda. Pilots are being harassed by schedulers threatening to give PG codes, legitimate fatigue calls go unpaid, and they STILL refuse to rectify our contract with Part 117. That's not negativity, that's the hard truth.
