Holy crap. Just made me go look up my IOE.. I had 28 hrs in 11 legs at my airline, which was my first 121 carrier and first jet. the average leg being over 2 hrs. Which did at least give us a lot of time to talk about stuff, and LCA had me take most of the landings. What does one even do in 50 hours of IOE? Don't get what's so tricky about flying the line... 100 is just insane. Was this people that had been away from flying for years or something?
