There's something really, really wrong with the world when corporations don't value their employees and honor agreements bargained in good faith. I know I am probably just barking up a tree and not able to make a difference, but it really gets under my skin that we are expected to operate at such a high standard with integrity and clear conscience. To operate safely, and to remove ourselves from the equation when necessary. The double standard at this corporation is deafening and is full of hypocrisy. Safety number one.... (At their convenience)
Has anyone else asked why for the delay codes they don't have one for pilot preflight duties? We get called out on doing what we are supposed to do and then get psychologically manipulated into doing what we are not supposed to do. To cut corners, to get the flight out on-time.
Morale is low. Corporate morals are abusive in nature. It's been getting worse and nothing is being done. Not even our union will stand up to this.
