Envoy is receiving new state of the art Embraer 175 aircraft each month and is being positioned to be the premiere regional carrier in the U.S. Envoy also flies the CRJ-700 and the Embraer 145. As an all jet carrier, you will not have to fly a turboprop here. You stand a very good chance to be flying the 175 if you can get in very soon.
Things are looking up at Envoy. Management just announced that all of the Embraer 145 aircraft currently flying at Expressjet will be returned to Envoy in early 2017. This means more flying, more new hires and more Captain slots. We also are looking at Embraer 175 options. American would like to place up to 90 additional 175's at Envoy. You can imagine what this would do to your seniority.
As you may be aware, Envoy has the most robust flow program in the industry. Essentially, we are hiring you as an AA pilot from day one. You can expect to work for Envoy for about 6 years before transitioning over to American Airlines. This is a no interview, no medical flow. Essentially, you are transferring from one department to another.
Disregard any negativity you see here about Envoy. It's from disgruntled ex employees and others who don't even work here and are likely working at a regional with no flow and no future. Envoy has a very bright future and the lifestyle here is similar to one that you would transition into at AA.
Still flowing 360 envoy pilots this year? We're hiring large numbers? Positioned to be the premiere regional carrier in the US? Things are looking up at envoy? Looking at 175 options? A bright future and a lifestyle similar to AA? You're credibility stinks and you do more harm than good with your pie in the sky rose colored glasses look at our airline.
