Lets see how accurate my crystal ball is ... at least, this scenario played out at American.

American Airlines pilots approve new contract, with nearly two thirds in favor | | Dallas Morning News

Management will take "their" deal to the pilot group directly. The Delta MEC will object (and politicians will choose to avoid the responsibility of "yes"), the DPA (being more anti-ALPA than pro-pilot) will get it wrong and fail to act as a watchdog. The Delta pilots will take the money and ratify the offer.

The risk and harm in such a scenario is that our leadership might not be able to mitigate the worst of management's positions on work rules and scope.

I think this is how I see it playing out if we fail to support our Reps and negotiators.
