One thing that a flow does is provides constant movement. There are always a certain number of senior pilots that are leaving each month. That allows more junior people to upgrade and take their spots. It also opens up training and check airmen positions. This benefits everyone on the list, even the newest hire.
Let me guess, you work for one that does have a flow. I specifically want to get to JetBlue so I'm not into the whole flow thing.

Give me an example of a flow that is working. Then compare those numbers to the amount of people moving on from non flow regionals. There is no significant benefit to flowing.
