We are the commodity and, in time, we will have to be well compensated to retain and attract pilots in order to grow. I'd imagine an Allegiant-like pay scale plus more. The first LCC to boost pay will have first dibs on the regional FOs (since most Allegiant, Frontier, JetBlue, and Spirit new-hires are Regional FOs). If they make this place attractive to have them STAY, then I don't see why Spirit can't become the next SWA @500 planes and 5000 pilots in 15-20 years (that might include a merger down the road :/)
