The weekend FIRC is usually a good deal because you get to meet a lot of people and it's more of a guided conversation and less of a lecture. Pretty entertaining...lot's of stories

The online FIRC might be good if they still offer the life-time deal (pay once, retake the course every two years for life).

I wouldn't recommend much else at AF, and I suggest that you do not pay them to process your paperwork....do it yourself. If they screw up and don't get it done on time, then your ticket will expire and a checkride will be required . Of course this has never actually happened
