In short, it's not much, I'd guess 45-55K gross. First year pay under the new contract (starting today actually) is 56/hr... But new hire training (on the bus) is taking about 4-6 months, that's all min guarantee (70 hrs). Then you'll most likely be on reserve in your base for at least 2-4 months (72.5 hrs/month); but, sure you can pick up on your days off if there's trips available (which there won't always be). I tell everyone, plan for a rough first year. I don't see how you'd make much more than 50. 2nd year is 96/hr, than it becomes a real job.
