PSA has hired a few more sim instructors recently. But, to be honest, we are way overstaffed when it comes to sim and ground instructors. I don't know if the company is planning something, or it is just wishful thinking.

If you PM me names, I can tell you if it is true, but I doubt it. Most all of our instructors are former Comair pilots, and a few guys that left the line and now working in the sims.

Right now, PSA sim instructors are having to fly the line at least 4-6 days a month, sometimes more, because we have way too many instructors for the number of new hires.
