Why fly 72hours for 72hours credit when you can fly 40hours for 100hours of credit? Business sense.

Is it because those guys we don't have a contract? Yea right. Lets get real people. You can't expect people not to pick up a trip because it MIGHT help get a contract sooner (it won't). You have to plan with what you know NOW. And what these people know NOW is that we aren't getting paid industry standard. Our contract allows us to do so, so utilize it.

There isn't enough unity in this, or any, pilot group for this mentality to work. "Oh, you need to just fly your line so we can get a contract." Wake up man. Not gonna happen. There is always somebody willing to fly on a day off. Either junior $38/hr guys who want more money, or the senior guys who haven't had a JM call in years.

I think it's guys making deals that is far more detrimental than who wears a green lanyard....

I'm happy for all you guys that get that call for a last minute fix- and wind up getting a 3 leg "DH" plus move up, plus pay protect your next 3 redeyes.... Good for you.... But what if everyone just said no to that??

Obviously they're hurting- or they wouldn't agree to the crazy DEALS.... Just say NO- will go a lot further than a green lanyard....

You wear a green lanyard and then brag to me about the deal you worked- I'm not impressed....
