You could definitely do two week stretches. In November we get to do a master vacation bid. Which is awarded week at a time. I think I was able to pick up to 5 weeks. Vacation time limiting. If you don't get the weeks you want, you can at anytime go into the vacation list. If there are extra slots available for the weeks you want you can have them awarded almost immediately.
