Even now people told me that Allegiant wasn't a good choice. I had other offers, one was chief pilot for a large 135 operator. I still chose Allegiant. It just felt right. As far as people talking bad about Allegiant? Man, I take it with a grain of salt.

Why? There hasn't been a company I haven't worked for were someone if not many said "beware" or "run far away". At the end of the day, does the job give you what you want or can TOLERATE.

No aviation job I had has been perfect and believe me, I've had some good ones. But as for someone that has served in one of the militaries hardest selection process, and dealt with my fair share of BS? Almost any flying job beats the hell out of physical labor or getting shot at.

Allegiant seems like a good place I can hang my hat for a while. Is a legacy better in many ways? Of course. But it all comes down to your mindset, and being able to stay away from negativity and politics.

Meeting Allegiant at a job fair helped me out tremendously. I suggest if you're interested, go to one.

Good luck gents
