Currently live in Dallas but looking to move into base at some point in the future. If I stay in Dallas, what would be the easiest commutable domicile to fly out of? I'm thinking ORD since it has both United and AA flights. I could drive to IAH but sounds like that's closing down soon.
I use to commute from DFW, and I've done the commute to just about everywhere. ORD is doable but has lots of AA commuters, but again has tons of flights with 3 airlines doing it. I did MSP, DTW and DEN as well. DEN is the shortest flight though, and its definitely nice to have a short flight home. IAH was nice too but again, I ran into lots of commuters on that one. At least IAH was drivable, but who knows what the future of IAH is? You really can't go wrong with any base from DFW. I miss living there for that reason alone.
