Looks like the 365-day requirement is only for your first year of employment. Can't get hired and 3 months later go on LTD. Once you've been here a year this restriction no longer applies and you need only cover the 90 days until LTD kicks in.
Max sick bank is 400 hours which gets you 5 and a half months at guarantee IF your sick bank was full. Who has that? 216 in your sick bank gets you to LTD.
400 hours will take 8 years 4 months with no sick calls to accrue that time
216 hours is "just" 4.5 years of no sick calls to accrue. Shouldn't be an issue to hit AND comply with 117 regs...lol
