They are unfortunately. My dad was a cop and trust me, it is darn near impossible to get stuff off of your driving record. I have a couple toll violations where my sunpass didn't work. I had no idea that this was happening or that it was on my record until I pulled my own record up. You can go to the DMV and have them pull up your entire driving history.

I also found out that when I switched insurance companies my previous insurance company reported me as having no insurance for two weeks. That is on my record too . I have tried to get it removed but it has been impossible so far.
