I just read an Alpa e-mail. In it they described American Airlines (non alpa?) pilots' as beeing pressured to rush.

Do we not now, and have we not been ( at FDX) under an early push directive?

For me, I make more mistaskes when I rush. If I have to go to the Mel or red tabs my first step (besides fly the plane) is take a deep breath.
In the sim since I have an idea of the scenario I force my self not to rush.

Best part of rushing for them and they will do this is : make a hard time trip pay less as an regular pairing in the bid pack. If you get a hotel during your O/B, etc and its ONE min less, no hotel for you.

Their lack of planning and properly manning/equiping for bad weather is NOT my problem.
