You guys are in a much better position to get released by the NMB to take the self-help measures required to get a great contract. You also have the "parking the MAX" that will move things along.
We are years behind you contract negotiating wise...do not jump to Delta because your getting discouraged with negotiations!
Well it's not just that. The offer your management presented your Union which will inevitably be negotiated up from is better than the offer our union presented that our management says they can't even come close to.
Your pay, retirement, and upgrade time crushes ours. And I'm afraid our fearless leader is positioning our airline for another merger/acquisition. Should we buy someone like JetBlue my 10-15 year upgrade could turn into a 20+ year upgrade.
So I would say the the fear of us buying someone is my number 1 driving factor leading to me possibly make the jump to Delta.
